Phone Booth Stuffing with the Mod Squad
I don't think I ever saw the Mod Squad as a kid, but for some reason I knew Linc, Julie, and Pete. Perhaps my best friends family watched it, since their tv was on 24 hours a day. Now that I've seen their squad of mod, I'm wondering how I could have ever lived without these groovy cats. Pete is even wearing a cravat, for gods sake! Nothing says success with the ladies like a colored scarf worn jauntily around the neck. They're going to need more people than that to win the phone booth stuffing contest.

Whenever I think of Clarence Williams III (which isn't often, I guess), I'll always remember him as the gay inmate who has a crush on Richard Pryor in Stir Crazy.
Good lord! I didn't remember that was him. Link.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Link was definitly my Mr. Cool when I was a kid. I musta been about 8 when the show first aired and I tuned in every week just to hear that boss theme song and to see the squad running down that street, clutching on to each other. One of my top ten alltime favs!
That comic book looks awesome. Any chance you could post the whole thing? I've done some PDFs of comics at my site, and I'm always on the lookout to see if anyone else has any to download.
Great site Jart!
Mr. Miller
Hmmm, I never thought of doing a pdf of the comic. I have a hard enough time getting posts up. But I'm going to keep it in mind as I love finding that type of stuff on other peoples sites.
I actually have 2 Mod Squad comics, and if I ever have time, it would be cool to do both of them.
Jimmy, the role of the gay inmate in Stir Crazy wasn't Clarence Williams III but Georg Stanford Brown. I get them confused myself.
