Mork and His Suspenders of Dementia

I hate to say it, but I used to be a big fan of Mork and Mindy. Among the posters I had on my bedroom walls were two of Mork. Plus I bought one pack of the bubblegum cards. Yup, that's right, one pack. Even as a kid I found these bubblegum cards to be extremely lame. They'd have been cooler if there wasn't that stupid dialog on them. I really hope those weren't actual lines on the show, because they aren't funny.

Unfortunately those lines aren't too far from what was on the show (which actually airs in some markets like mine). Who'd believe that this was a spinoff of Happy Days?

I had a couple of these that one of my cousins gave me. One, I remember, featured Mork and Mindy having an argument about the trash. Mindy had asked him to take it out and it was still in the kitchen. Apparently Mork had misunderstood, brought the trash out to a movie with him, and then returned it to the kitchen before its perceived curfew.

Oh, those damn fool aliens.

I never saw the tv show as a kid. Thank heavens.
