I really liked the Odd Couple. In fact, I liked them so much that I wrote them a fan letter. I have no idea what it said, but I did get a response which included promo photos and a postcard. The autographs aren't real. They're printed on the postcard, but it was still exciting to see them. It seems kind of odd to me now that as a ten year old I would be that into a show about a neatnick and a gambling cigar smoking sports writer.

Read Jack Klugman's new book yet? Lots of great firsthand Odd Couple memories and even a few secrets about the show. And not that you asked or anything, but my favorite Odd Couple episode? Password. Aristophanes...ridiculous!
I didn't even realize Klugman had written a book. I always liked Klugman in Quincy too. But for the life of me I can't remember any of the episodes plots.
However I did have the record, The Odd Couple Sings...which unfortunately at age 12 I gave to Goodwill after failing to sell it for 10 cents at a yard sale. How I regret that "Im too old for this stuff" phase of my teenage years.
OUCH!! I hope that album makes its way back to you again (I've seen it happen). Have to find a copy for myself, matter o'fact. Sounds like it'd be better than Tony Randall's vaudeville album...
