Bigfoot...the name says it all

The Krofft Supershow - where do I sign up? Kaptain Kool and the Kongs were the dorkiest band ever, but I adored Bigfoot and Wildboy. In fact, I was even a member of Joseph Butchers Fan Club - he played Wildboy. You just know I've still got all the fan club stuff, including a lovely 8x10 glossy of Bigfoot and Wildboy!

So to sum up:
Kaptain Kool and the Kongs?... lame lame lame and lame
Bigfoot and Wildboy?.... totally cool
hilarious new Magic Mongo?... doesn't even ring a bell, but in the picture he does look kind of like Joe Peschi, and I suspect if I can't remember him at all, he wasn't so hilarious.

Oh I also must mention that in the picture Bigfoot appears to be twice the size of Wildboy, but in actuality, he was probably about a foot taller.

Remember when Shields and Yarnell used to be on every variety show, including the Muppet Show? I must know what happened to them.

Oh my God. Kaptain Kool and the Kongs?? I haven't thought about them since the last time I saw them on TV!!
I remember Shields and Yarnell being the on the Donny and Marie Show. Er, I mean, I remember being told about it.
Remember the Captain and Tenille show? The Bionic Watermelon?
Boy, I'd better be careful. There's no telling what you might make me remember.

Shields and Yarnell! I love randomly referring to them in conversations. They were kind of neat, but kind of creepy at the same time. And they only had one schtick.

I did watch Donny and Marie every week. I'm not sure why because I disliked them both and the show stunk. But every week, my brother and I sat down and watched it.

I also remember seeing the Captain and Tennile show, but I don't talk about that, although it was no worse than Donny and Marie.
